Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation’s 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

“Yes We Can” planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald’s restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama’s honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.

At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald’s, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th.

Obama Virus Resembles Obama’s Plan

The Obama virus is transmitted to unwitting users (Liberals) via a link that is suppose to take them to Obama’s acceptance speech. Instead however the virus downloads a spyware program which steals the users data (Spreads their information around) and also acts as a botnet, a group of computers used to spread spam (ACORN)…

Odd how much it mimics Obama himself…

Obama fever has swept the world, and now millions of computer users are under threat from an Obama virus.

The message offers the viewer a supposed link to a video of Obama’s acceptance speech.

What it really does is direct users to a website that downloads a spy program, which steals sensitive information from users’ computers.

The information can then be used to access online accounts, steal identities and falsify credit card transactions.

The virus also incorporates the victim’s computer into a botnet – a network of computers programmed to spread spam.

Found it funny how  Italy’s Berlusconi hails “suntanned” Obama and now most will call this racist and insulting, however it is the first really comment that takes into Obama’s skin color and does not make it a racial issue. This is how to get past the racial prejudice… Remove it. Now those that find it insulting and racist, are the same ones that keep the spark of racial divides alive by talking about how Obama is the first Black President of the United States… He is the 44th President of the United States, but adding the term black or African American or any other label is creating the racial divide.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi gave an enthusiastic, if unconventional, welcome on Thursday to the election of Barack Obama, citing among his attributes youth, good looks and a “suntan.”

Speaking at a joint news conference with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow, the 72-year-old media tycoon also said Obama’s election to the White House had been “hailed by world public opinion as the arrival of a messiah.”

“I will try to help relations between Russia and the United States where a new generation has come to power, and I don’t see problems for Medvedev to establish good relations with Obama who is also handsome, young and suntanned,” he said.

Berlusconi, who himself sports a year-round tan, is famed in diplomatic circles for making sometimes inappropriate quips.

On his first meeting with Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen in 2002, Berlusconi complimented him with the words: “Rasmussen is not only a great colleague, he’s also the best-looking prime minister in Europe.”

He added: “He’s so good looking, I’m even thinking of introducing him to my wife.”

He sparked a minor diplomatic incident in 2005 by suggesting he had wooed Finnish President Tarja Halonen to ensure her backing for Italy to host the European Food Safety Authority.

“I had to use all my playboy tactics, even if they have not been used for some time,” he said, prompting Helsinki to call in the Italian ambassador to explain the comments.
