Atlas Shrugs brings to us a poingant smelling piece from Texas, hey isn’t that the same place the Holyland Foundation Trials are being held? Islamification has reared it’s nasty head in the public school system. Now what I find amazing is that political correctness has taken a back seat this time, why because it is Islam (Religion) being taught in a Public School. Now that this been Christianity or Judism, then there would be law suites, riots and possibly even the excommunication of those that allowed such religion to be mixed with the state.

Remember those liberals who insist that there be a separation fo church from state, and that includes schools and prayers.

Those that feel creationism is not a viable study at school, somehow find teaching of Mohammad is relevant to middle school education. Wait maybe this is the diversity side of it…

Well surprise surpise, they have name even made a sigh at this one… Now this goes beyond just religious teaching, it is teaching Jihad. Yes that is right folks, your good ol school taxes are funding Jihad teachings in US Public Schools…

This borders on child abuse as far as I am concerned, yes child abuse does include mental assults… What’s next, HTV – Hamas TV coming to a school near you…

Where is the ACLU when you need them, oh yeah defending some non American’s rights…

Parents say seventh-grade textbook at Houston Elementary inappropriate

The parents of children at Houston Elementary School plan to complain to the school board about concerns they have with a seventh-grade history textbook, which they feel pays an undue amount of attention to the teachings of Islam.

When Jim Self asked his son last week what he was learning in school, he was surprised to hear his 12-year-old boy say that he was learning about the Prophet Muhammad.

And his favorite 6 year old wife Aisha? Or the Pro Moe’s happy thoughts for the day like,“I have ordered you to kill them” 

That night Jim Self and his wife, Korina, flipped through their son’s textbook, “History Alive!: The Medieval World and Beyond,” and found at least three chapters dedicated to the Islamic faith, including an entire chapter dedicated to the Prophet Muhammad.

A chapter on the pro moe, propeller beanie be upon him?

Since then, the couple has started a campaign to remove the textbook from their child’s classroom. The book is used in classrooms throughout the district.

“I don’t think we would have an issue about it if (it wasn’t so) in-depth,” said Jim Self, who fought in Iraq as a Marine from 2003 to 2004.

Among the Selfs’ concerns about the textbook is its definition of the word “jihad,” which is described in the book as “the human struggle to overcome difficulties and do things that would be pleasing to God.”

I smell Sauduction. Saudi money is everywhere.

The Selfs said the textbook mentioned Jesus only twice, and other major religions were only given a paragraph of explanation.

One of the Selfs’ biggest concerns, though, is that such detailed explanation of Islam is a violation of the separation of church and state.

“If he was in college and he was studying world religions, fine,” Jim Self said.

The Selfs, who are Christians, worry that their reaction to the textbook will cause people to label them as religious “wackos.”

“We’re just regular people,” Jim Self said.

I’ll say. You are heros Jim.

Parents in Arizona requested that the same textbook, which was being used on a trial basis, be pulled from classrooms in Scottsdale Unified School District because they felt the book contained Islamic propaganda, according to an article in the East Valley Tribune newspaper.

Read this and weep. Betrayed by the left.  Again.

He may not be the ring leader, however he is the facilitator. Additionally notice how the Fourth Estate has pretty much brushed this story under the rug along with the Florida Fireworks Kids…

Now let’s hope the prosecution doesn’t pull a spain and acquite the rest of these terrorists.

Fort Dix Six update: Gun supplier pleads guilty

Newhouse News Service reports the latest development in the Fort Dix Six jihadi plot:

A Monroe Township supermarket worker accused of arming a band of immigrant Muslims intent on attacking Fort Dix will plead guilty today to weapons charges, his attorney said.

Agron Abdullahu of Collings Lakes in Atlantic County will admit to conspiring to help illegal immigrants obtain or possess weapons, federal public defender Richard Coughlin said. The crime carries a maximum term of five years, but his attorneys previously have said the federal guidelines for the crime suggest a sentence of less than two years.

Abdullahu’s decision to plead guilty is not expected to drastically alter the case. Since his arrest with the others in May, prosecutors have emphasized Abdullahu was not accused of participating in the overarching plot to kill U.S. soldiers. And, his attorney said, he is not cooperating with investigators.

A 24-year-old ethnic Albanian who fled Kosovo in 1999, Abdullahu settled with his family in Buena Vista and worked at a local ShopRite. As a legal U.S. resident, he was the only defendant capable of buying guns. Prosecutors say he helped train the others at a firing range in northeast Pennsylvania in 2006 and 2007.

Look for the CAIR types to downplay or ignore this guilty plea. They’ll seize on Abdullahu’s lawyers’ spin that he had nothing to do with the jihadi designs.

Drawings found in the prison cell of a man suspected of plotting to attack Fort Dix suggest that he wants to seek revenge against FBI agents and should remain in custody, prosecutors said Monday.

The drawings—include one with the letters “FBI” and a gun pointing to them—are another reason that Agron Abdullahu should not be released from custody as he awaits trial, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in legal documents filed Monday.

Abdullahu seemed to be thinking about “seeking revenge against the FBI agents who caused him to be imprisoned in the first place,” they wrote. “Releasing Abdullahu now would not only endanger the community at large, but also the agents who investigated this case.”

Guards at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia found the FBI drawing and another in the one-person cell where Abdullahu is being held.

The other drawing was of the phrase—”Rainca Kosava UCK.” Prosecutors contend that it refers to the Kosovo Liberation Army, which they say has links to some terrorist groups. Authorities said Abdullahu admitted to drawing the graffiti and explained that “Rainca” was the town where he was born.

The government said the drawings were etched with the screw from a light switch plate onto the door of Abdullahu’s cell.

Congress Finally Does Something

This latest Congress has been a disgrace, accomplishing nothing over the past 11 months. Finally they have passed a bill that actual means something… Internet Tax suspended another 7 years. Now we will see if the Dems make good on any of their other promises they used to get elected and have not fulfilled…

Well I guess the Dems are desperate to get some votes in 2008… Image the backlash if they did not pass this. One thing the past few years has proven is the Internet’s influence on politics, good or bad, they need all the avenues to the people.

Well hopefully then next step will be a permanent ban.

 It’s not easy to get the partisan Congress to vote unanimously on anything these days, but apparently both parties can agree that Internet access should not be taxed.

With only two days to spare, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 402-0 on Tuesday morning to extend the moratorium on state and local Internet taxes. The move was applauded by Internet service providers, wireless carriers, and other Web companies that said that prices for Web access could shoot up as much as 17% without it.

Originally passed as the 1998 Internet Tax Freedom Act, the ban was extended to Nov. 1, 2007 as the Internet Tax Nondiscrimination Act of 2004. The new bill prohibits “bit taxes” and the like through 2014.

Republican lawmakers including Rep. John Sununu of New Hampshire, the author of today’s bill, have called for a permanent ban on taxing Internet traffic, but Congress is apparently not quite ready for such a radically revenue refusal. The House had earlier approved a four-year version of the tax relief. The Senate passed a bill calling for a seven-year ban last week, so the measure now goes to President Bush, who is expected to sign it in time to meet Thursday’s deadline.

Loath to miss a chance for a partisan dig, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, released a statement that included the following: “Unlike the Republican-controlled Congress, which allowed the moratorium on taxes on Internet access to expire for more than a year, the Democratic Congress voted today to extend the moratorium on time, ahead of the expiration date of November 1.”

Also applauding today’s measure was Verizon (NYSE: VZ). “Broadband access is now a crucial driver of America’s economy, and this moratorium extension will ensure continued investment and growth in the broadband marketplace,” said Peter Davidson, senior VP of federal government relations at Verizon, said in a statement.

The new legislation also broadens the tax ban to include forms of online communication beyond simple Web access. “These changes will protect instant messaging and e-mail, including voice and video messaging services as well as personal storage and other video services regardless of who provides them,” said Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), who helped push through the changes, in a statement.

Kunicich Stance on Aliens?

So Mr. Kunicich what is your stance on Aliens? Since you were so moved, should we grant these aliens amnesty? Kucinich sees UFO, new book claims

Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has seen a UFO, writes Shirley MacLaine in her new book, “Sage-Ing While Age-Ing.”

Kucinich, she writes on page143-144 of the book, “had a close sighting over my home in Graham, Washington, when I lived there. Dennis found his encounter extremely moving. The smell of roses drew him out to my balcony where, when he looked up, he saw a gigantic triangular craft, silent, and observing him. It hovered, soundless, for ten minutes or so, and sped away with a speed he couldn’t comprehend. He said he felt a connection in his heart and heard directions in his mind.”

Representatives of Kucinich’s presidential campaign and congressional office have not responded to calls and e-mail asking whether the Cleveland Democratic congressman in fact saw a UFO or if there is another explanation for MacLaine’s recollection.

MacLaine is a well-known believer of UFOs and reincarnation. And she’s been close to Kucinich for decades. MacLaine is the godmother of Kucinich’s daughter and attended Kucinich’s 2005 Cleveland wedding to third wife, Elizabeth, who’s often campaigning by his side.

MacLaine also recommended in the 1980s that Kucinich visit New Mexico spiritual adviser Chris Griscom, whom MacLaine featured in her then-best-selling book, “Dancing in the Light,” describing how Griscom helped her communicate with trees. (Kucinich has insisted that Griscom was not his spiritual adviser but a “teacher and a very good friend.”)

MacLaine, who shares Kucinich’s opposition to using weapons in space, doesn’t shed any more light in her book on Kucinich’s close encounter, including when it happened. But to read more about MacLaine’s beliefs, pick up a copy of the book. It goes on sale next month — on Election Day.

Mental Health Check Kucinich

Or at least a hearing check. Kucinich is questioning Bush’s mental health based on his comment about AVOIDING world war III by preventing Iran from obtaining the capability of nuclear weapons. In the comment Kucinich is critisizing, Bush does not say anything violent, however Kucinich obviously was having some Freudian thoughts about the topic. Nice liberal spin Kucinich, can’t beat Hillary so let’s go Bush bashing, page 2 of the liberal handbook…

Kucinich questions Bush’s mental health

Kucinich, with wife Elizabeth, questioned the president’s mental health.

(CNN) — Strong words from Democratic presidential contender Dennis Kucinich may be nothing new, but his comments to a newspaper Tuesday questioning President Bush’s mental health are raising a few eyebrows.

“I seriously believe we have to start asking questions about his mental health,” the Ohio congressman told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “There’s something wrong. He does not seem to understand his words have real impact.”

Kucinich’s comments were in reference to the president’s recent remarks on Iran, in which he suggested World War III could occur if the country obtained nuclear capabilities.

“I’ve told people that, if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon,” Bush said at a news conference earlier this month.

The Democratic presidential candidate later said he does not consider questioning the Bush’s mental health inappropriate, according the Inquirer’s Web site.

“You cannot be a President of the United States who’s wanton in his expression of violence,” Kucinich said. “There’s a lot of people who need care. He might be one of them. If there isn’t something wrong with him, then there’s something wrong with us. This, to me, is a very serious question.”

Have Nuke, Will Travel

Alas, most have already forgotten the nuclear threat from Al Qaeda… Most Americans sleep at night blind to what is right in front of them. For years now, the threat has been made, then the liberal media brushes it under the rug and everyone becomes compacent…

Well a little reminder, Osama bin Laden, Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations around the world want to attack us, on our land, in our places of work, at our homes. They have made clear they want to attack with nuclear, biological or chemicals weapons. They have made clear they are trying to put together a program. They have repeatedly claimed to have such devices. What more does America need to tackle the big problems out there. Countries like Iran, Syria and N. Korea are more than willing to aide terrorists in attacking the west. Russia has shown its alliances to the Triad of Terror. Russia has shown it will sell weaponary to anyone willing to pay the price.

This is why we bring the battle to them, our next President needs to have the resolve that President Bush once had. We need a President willing to make the hard decisions, the decisions that may not be the popular choice, the decision to protect Americans.

Now, Al Qaeda and Bin Laden constantly make threats to try and prove they are still realevant, even though they are a diminishing reality, however it only takes one lucky shot to do the damage they need to become a leading terrorists in the world again. They thrive on the need to be seen as the ultimate martyrs in the Islamic world. We must not let our guard down against them, we must not under estimate them, we must not turn a blind eye because we think they are weaken and ineffectual…

Nuclear attack on America: Hiroshima Paul Williams

The Global Islamic Media Front, the leading al Qaeda website, has posted a report that verifies Osama bin Laden’s possession of nuclear weapons and his intent, if provoked, to deploy these weapons against the United States.

The report maintains that bin Laden, when asked what will happen if the US uses nukes against his terrorist organization, said: “If they hit us with them, we will hit them with the same.”

In November 2001, bin Laden henchman Dr. Ayman al Zawahri provided a similar response to the same question during an interview with Hamid Mir. “We have chemical and nuclear weapons,” he told the Pakistani journalist. “If America uses chemical or nuclear weapons against us, then we may resort with chemical or nuclear weapons.” When Mir asked bin Laden where he obtained such weapons, the al Qaeda leader said: “It is not difficult [to acquire such weapons], not if you have contacts in the Russian underworld.”

The Global Islamic Media Front report goes on to say that al Qaeda, prior to 9/11, had commissioned an Egyptian scientist to prepare its arsenal of nuclear weapons–obtained from arms dealers, such as Semion Mogilevich of the Ukraine and black-market sources in Russia, Chechnya, China, Kazakhstan, Iran, and Sudan. This scientist, according to the Front, “tested exploding a miniature nuclear bomb and caused a huge, tremendous explosion which made the leaders of the mujahadeen very happy. Sheikh Osama personally was following the project through its various phases.”

London Mosques Handbooks of Hate

Atlas Shrugs reports that prominent Muslim Mosques in London, ones tied to the Saudi Royals, is providing hate literature, hey is this really a shoker to anyone. Pretty soon London will be the new Mecca… People need to wake up to the invasion they are facing.

Books calling for the beheading of lapsed Muslims, ordering women to remain indoors and forbidding interfaith marriage are being sold inside some of Britain’s leading mosques, according to research seen by The Times.

Where do they think this is all going to lead?

Some of the fundamentalist works were found at the bookshop in the London Central mosque in Regent’s Park, which is funded by the Saudi regime and is regularly visited by government ministers. Its director, Ahmad al-Dubayan, is also a Saudi diplomat and was among those greeting King Abdullah when he arrived in Britain last night for his official state visit.

Extremist literature, including passages supporting the stoning of adulterers and waging violent jihad, was also found on sale at many other mosques regarded as mainstream institutions.

More than 80 books and pamphlets were collected during a year-long project in which researchers visited 100 mosques across Britain.

You gotta monitor the mosques.

One book, Fatawa Islamiyah, which urges the execution of apostates, was found in bookshops at Regent’s Park mosque and at the huge East London mosque in Whitechapel. Muhammad Abdul Bari, the secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), is the chairman of the East London mosque.

The researchers said that they found further controversial works during visits to mosques in Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Oxford and High Wycombe.

The Times has learnt that five of the books that were acquired by researchers had been also found in searches during Scotland Yard antiterrorist investigations since 2001. About half of the books collected were in English – raising questions about the emphasis placed by the Government in combating extremism by training more English-speaking imams.

Blackwater Immunity – Does It Really Matter?

More political BS in trying to attack the Blackwater security forces for protecting State Department officials. Over and over we keep hearing about if Blackwater forces were being attacked when they shot “civilians”, the answer is yes, they were reacting to a massive explosion that had targeted them and their package. Now investigators granted minimal immunity for sworn testimony and again the media is all over Blackwater as if this was their fault or that it was wrong in doing so. Yes any prosecutor that is going to go after Blackwater forces will have more work to do, however as it stands their job is just as difficult as the scene was scrubbed prior to US forces being able to gather evidence.

This uproar over immunity is a joke as these forces could have just as easily refused to answer any questions, but as the liberals in the world think, that would be a guilty admission. The employees of Blackwater are under attack from those investigating them, where the answers were predetermined by the liberal media and no matter what really happened, what the Blackwater employees say under oath, not under oath, does not really matter because judgement has already been reached and they are just waiting for the media’s sentencing…

As the report below states, regardless of the immunity deal, prosecutors would have a hard time prosecuting this case.

ABC News has learned the exact wording of the immunity deal the State Department granted Blackwater security guards involved in a September shooting incident that left 17 Iraqis dead.

The security guards were given a limited immunity called “use immunity” in exchange for giving sworn statements about their involvement in the Sept. 16 shooting incident.

The wording of the immunity is included at the beginning of the Blackwater guards’ sworn statements, which have been obtained by ABC News.

In each of the statements, the guards begin by saying “I understand this statement is being given in furtherance of an official administrative inquiry,” and that, “I further understand that neither my statements nor any information or evidence gained by reason of my statements can be used against me in a criminal proceeding, except that if I knowingly and willfully provide false statements or information, I may be criminally prosecuted for that action under 18 United States Code, Section 1001.”

The immunity deal was granted in the immediate aftermath of the shooting by State Department officials in Iraq who were under intense pressure to quickly explain what happened in the face of allegations by Iraqi officials that the contractors murdered civilians in cold blood.

News of the immunity deal caught State Department officials in Washington off guard.

“If anyone gave such immunity it was done so without consulting senior leadership at State,” a senior State Department official initially told ABC News.

State Department spokesman Sean McCormack would not comment directly on the immunity given to the security guards, but said Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is determined to hold anybody guilty of wrongdoing accountable.

“Secretary Rice’s attitude is that if there are individuals who broke rules, laws or regulations they must be held to account,” McCormack told reporters. “Every action that she has taken during the course of the aftermath of this incident has been consistent with that approach.”

McCormack refused to discuss the specific shooting and the subsequent investigation. However, he did say that the State Department “would not have asked the FBI and the Department of Justice to get involved in a case that we did not think that they could potentially prosecute.”

“The kinds of, quote, ‘immunity’ that I’ve seen reported in the press would not preclude a successful criminal prosecution,” he insisted.

“The Department of State cannot immunize an individual from federal criminal prosecution,” he added.

McCormack refused to answer questions as to whether the type of immunity provided to the Blackwater guards would in fact make prosecution much harder, citing the ongoing investigation.

“The secretary doesn’t want us to say anything that would potentially jeopardize an ongoing investigation,” he said.

Scope of Immunity Is Limited

The immunity granted to the Blackwater guards is more limited in scope than so-called “transactional immunity” which would prevent any proscution for the alleged crimes. But the immunity granted to the guards means that anything said in the statements — and anything learned as a result of the statements — cannot be used by prosecutors.

“It’s a nightmare for prosecutors,” said legal expert Eugene Fidell.

Even without immunity, however, it would be extremely difficult to prosecute the Blackwater security guards in U.S. courts.

Shortly after the Sept. 16 Blackwater incident, Secretary Rice dispatched a panel of experts to Iraq to examine the use of private security contractors.

The panel’s report, drafted by Ambassador Patrick Kennedy, concluded that even if a private security guard committed cold-blooded murder, there may be no legal basis for prosecuting the guard in U.S. courts under current law.

“The panel is unaware of any basis for holding non-Department of Defense contractors accountable under U.S. law,” the report concluded.

Al Qaeda Armchair Martyrs Load Your Keyboards

Debka is reporting that Al Qaeda is planning a massive Internet attack on November 11. In desperation Al Qaeda is inviting Muslims that cannot perform in actual Jihad to join the cyber Jihad to fulfill their obligations, somehow I don’t think Allah will deem this worthy to bestow virgins upon those that participate. I am predicting that nothing noticible will be seen, Al Qaeda is just trying to make some noise to show they are not as open to cyber attacks as the past few months have proven with their files hacked, media released to the government and media, email lists compromised and websites beaten down. I am sure our experts are on top of this threat and would not be surpised if a counter attack is already in the works. Can you say Honeypot…

DEBKAfile Exclusive: Al Qaeda declares Cyber Jihad on the West

In a special Internet announcement in Arabic, picked up DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources, Osama bin Laden’s followers announced Monday, Oct. 29, the launching of Electronic Jihad. On Sunday, Nov. 11, al Qaeda’s electronic experts will start attacking Western, Jewish, Israeli, Muslim apostate and Shiite Web sites. On Day One, they will test their skills against 15 targeted sites expand the operation from day to day thereafter until hundreds of thousands of Islamist hackers are in action against untold numbers of anti-Muslim sites.

DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report that, shortly after the first announcement, some of al Qaeda’s own Web sites went blank, apparently crashed by the American intelligence computer experts tracking them.

The next day, Oct. 30, they were up again, claiming their Islamic fire walls were proof against infidel assault.

They also boasted an impenetrable e-mail network for volunteers wishing to join up with the cyber jihad to contact and receive instructions undetected by the security agencies in their respective countries.

Our sources say the instructions come in simple language and are organized in sections according to target. They offer would-be martyrs, who for one reason or another are unable to fight in the field, to fulfill their jihad obligations on the Net. These armchair martyrs are assured of the same thrill and sense of elation as a jihadi on the “battlefield.”

In effect, say DEBKAfile’s counter-terror experts, al Qaeda is retaliating against Western intelligence agencies’ tactics, which detect new terrorist sites and zap them as soon as they appear. Until now, the jihadists kept dodging the assault by throwing up dozens of new sites simultaneously. This kept the trackers busy and ensured that some of the sites survived, while empty pages were promptly replaced. But as al Qaeda’s cyber wizards got better at keeping its presence on the Net for longer periods, so too did Western counter-attackers at knocking them down. Now Bin Laden’s cyber legions are fighting back. The electronic war they have declared could cause considerable trouble on the world’s Internet.
