London Mosques Handbooks of Hate

Atlas Shrugs reports that prominent Muslim Mosques in London, ones tied to the Saudi Royals, is providing hate literature, hey is this really a shoker to anyone. Pretty soon London will be the new Mecca… People need to wake up to the invasion they are facing.

Here’s a tough one to believe.

Lessons in hate found at leading mosques Times Online

Books calling for the beheading of lapsed Muslims, ordering women to remain indoors and forbidding interfaith marriage are being sold inside some of Britain’s leading mosques, according to research seen by The Times.

Where do they think this is all going to lead?

Some of the fundamentalist works were found at the bookshop in the London Central mosque in Regent’s Park, which is funded by the Saudi regime and is regularly visited by government ministers. Its director, Ahmad al-Dubayan, is also a Saudi diplomat and was among those greeting King Abdullah when he arrived in Britain last night for his official state visit.

Extremist literature, including passages supporting the stoning of adulterers and waging violent jihad, was also found on sale at many other mosques regarded as mainstream institutions.

More than 80 books and pamphlets were collected during a year-long project in which researchers visited 100 mosques across Britain.

You gotta monitor the mosques.

One book, Fatawa Islamiyah, which urges the execution of apostates, was found in bookshops at Regent’s Park mosque and at the huge East London mosque in Whitechapel. Muhammad Abdul Bari, the secretary-general of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), is the chairman of the East London mosque.

The researchers said that they found further controversial works during visits to mosques in Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Oxford and High Wycombe.

The Times has learnt that five of the books that were acquired by researchers had been also found in searches during Scotland Yard antiterrorist investigations since 2001. About half of the books collected were in English – raising questions about the emphasis placed by the Government in combating extremism by training more English-speaking imams.

Blackwater Immunity – Does It Really Matter?

More political BS in trying to attack the Blackwater security forces for protecting State Department officials. Over and over we keep hearing about if Blackwater forces were being attacked when they shot “civilians”, the answer is yes, they were reacting to a massive explosion that had targeted them and their package. Now investigators granted minimal immunity for sworn testimony and again the media is all over Blackwater as if this was their fault or that it was wrong in doing so. Yes any prosecutor that is going to go after Blackwater forces will have more work to do, however as it stands their job is just as difficult as the scene was scrubbed prior to US forces being able to gather evidence.

This uproar over immunity is a joke as these forces could have just as easily refused to answer any questions, but as the liberals in the world think, that would be a guilty admission. The employees of Blackwater are under attack from those investigating them, where the answers were predetermined by the liberal media and no matter what really happened, what the Blackwater employees say under oath, not under oath, does not really matter because judgement has already been reached and they are just waiting for the media’s sentencing…

As the report below states, regardless of the immunity deal, prosecutors would have a hard time prosecuting this case.

ABC News has learned the exact wording of the immunity deal the State Department granted Blackwater security guards involved in a September shooting incident that left 17 Iraqis dead.

The security guards were given a limited immunity called “use immunity” in exchange for giving sworn statements about their involvement in the Sept. 16 shooting incident.

The wording of the immunity is included at the beginning of the Blackwater guards’ sworn statements, which have been obtained by ABC News.

In each of the statements, the guards begin by saying “I understand this statement is being given in furtherance of an official administrative inquiry,” and that, “I further understand that neither my statements nor any information or evidence gained by reason of my statements can be used against me in a criminal proceeding, except that if I knowingly and willfully provide false statements or information, I may be criminally prosecuted for that action under 18 United States Code, Section 1001.”

The immunity deal was granted in the immediate aftermath of the shooting by State Department officials in Iraq who were under intense pressure to quickly explain what happened in the face of allegations by Iraqi officials that the contractors murdered civilians in cold blood.

News of the immunity deal caught State Department officials in Washington off guard.

“If anyone gave such immunity it was done so without consulting senior leadership at State,” a senior State Department official initially told ABC News.

State Department spokesman Sean McCormack would not comment directly on the immunity given to the security guards, but said Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is determined to hold anybody guilty of wrongdoing accountable.

“Secretary Rice’s attitude is that if there are individuals who broke rules, laws or regulations they must be held to account,” McCormack told reporters. “Every action that she has taken during the course of the aftermath of this incident has been consistent with that approach.”

McCormack refused to discuss the specific shooting and the subsequent investigation. However, he did say that the State Department “would not have asked the FBI and the Department of Justice to get involved in a case that we did not think that they could potentially prosecute.”

“The kinds of, quote, ‘immunity’ that I’ve seen reported in the press would not preclude a successful criminal prosecution,” he insisted.

“The Department of State cannot immunize an individual from federal criminal prosecution,” he added.

McCormack refused to answer questions as to whether the type of immunity provided to the Blackwater guards would in fact make prosecution much harder, citing the ongoing investigation.

“The secretary doesn’t want us to say anything that would potentially jeopardize an ongoing investigation,” he said.

Scope of Immunity Is Limited

The immunity granted to the Blackwater guards is more limited in scope than so-called “transactional immunity” which would prevent any proscution for the alleged crimes. But the immunity granted to the guards means that anything said in the statements — and anything learned as a result of the statements — cannot be used by prosecutors.

“It’s a nightmare for prosecutors,” said legal expert Eugene Fidell.

Even without immunity, however, it would be extremely difficult to prosecute the Blackwater security guards in U.S. courts.

Shortly after the Sept. 16 Blackwater incident, Secretary Rice dispatched a panel of experts to Iraq to examine the use of private security contractors.

The panel’s report, drafted by Ambassador Patrick Kennedy, concluded that even if a private security guard committed cold-blooded murder, there may be no legal basis for prosecuting the guard in U.S. courts under current law.

“The panel is unaware of any basis for holding non-Department of Defense contractors accountable under U.S. law,” the report concluded.

Al Qaeda Armchair Martyrs Load Your Keyboards

Debka is reporting that Al Qaeda is planning a massive Internet attack on November 11. In desperation Al Qaeda is inviting Muslims that cannot perform in actual Jihad to join the cyber Jihad to fulfill their obligations, somehow I don’t think Allah will deem this worthy to bestow virgins upon those that participate. I am predicting that nothing noticible will be seen, Al Qaeda is just trying to make some noise to show they are not as open to cyber attacks as the past few months have proven with their files hacked, media released to the government and media, email lists compromised and websites beaten down. I am sure our experts are on top of this threat and would not be surpised if a counter attack is already in the works. Can you say Honeypot…

DEBKAfile Exclusive: Al Qaeda declares Cyber Jihad on the West

Symbol of al Qaeda's new Cyper Jihad

Symbol of al Qaeda’s new Cyper Jihad

In a special Internet announcement in Arabic, picked up DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources, Osama bin Laden’s followers announced Monday, Oct. 29, the launching of Electronic Jihad. On Sunday, Nov. 11, al Qaeda’s electronic experts will start attacking Western, Jewish, Israeli, Muslim apostate and Shiite Web sites. On Day One, they will test their skills against 15 targeted sites expand the operation from day to day thereafter until hundreds of thousands of Islamist hackers are in action against untold numbers of anti-Muslim sites.

DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report that, shortly after the first announcement, some of al Qaeda’s own Web sites went blank, apparently crashed by the American intelligence computer experts tracking them.

The next day, Oct. 30, they were up again, claiming their Islamic fire walls were proof against infidel assault.

They also boasted an impenetrable e-mail network for volunteers wishing to join up with the cyber jihad to contact and receive instructions undetected by the security agencies in their respective countries.

Our sources say the instructions come in simple language and are organized in sections according to target. They offer would-be martyrs, who for one reason or another are unable to fight in the field, to fulfill their jihad obligations on the Net. These armchair martyrs are assured of the same thrill and sense of elation as a jihadi on the “battlefield.”

In effect, say DEBKAfile’s counter-terror experts, al Qaeda is retaliating against Western intelligence agencies’ tactics, which detect new terrorist sites and zap them as soon as they appear. Until now, the jihadists kept dodging the assault by throwing up dozens of new sites simultaneously. This kept the trackers busy and ensured that some of the sites survived, while empty pages were promptly replaced. But as al Qaeda’s cyber wizards got better at keeping its presence on the Net for longer periods, so too did Western counter-attackers at knocking them down. Now Bin Laden’s cyber legions are fighting back. The electronic war they have declared could cause considerable trouble on the world’s Internet.

Hamas’ Al Qassam Brigade Preparing to Attack Israel

I wonder if the Gaza Strip Boys will be joining in the the fun??? Hamas’ Military wing is ready to attack Israel in a large scale attack. I guess Hamas thinks because they can kick the hell out of Fatah that they are equals for battle against Israel. If this should take place, I think Gaza will be reoccupied. I am just waiting for the liberals to scream that this is all a plot by Israel…

The Al-Qassam Brigades are preparing to start attacking the Israelis inside their territories if the Israelis do not stop targeted assassinations against Palestinians, a Hamas leader announced on Tuesday.

Sheikh Nimir Hamdan said that he had met with the general commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas movement, Muhammad Daif.

He said Daif told him, “The Al-Qassam Brigades are preparing within a few weeks to start attacking the Israelis inside their territories instead of taking a defensive position only.”

The electronic website of Palestine Live stated that Hamdan quoted Daif as saying that “The Al-Qassam Brigades will strike the Israeli occupying entity very strongly if the targeted killings against Palestinians and the incursions into West Bank and Gaza Strip do not stop.”

Muhammad Daif has survived several assassination attempts by the Israelis.

Hamas Unleashes Gaza Strip Boy Band

Hamas is trying to show a softer side, a more feminine metrosexual side of its forces. A culmination of music and militant philosphy to inspire a new generation of killers… Well I guess this is better than sending in suicide bombers… For now at least. I wonder what Fatah thinks about this after the who homosexual war between Hamas and Fatah, this should have Fatah wondering if Hamas is now a Don’t Ask Don’t Tell military force…

Hamas boy band to bring harmony to Gaza
The members of Protectors of the Homeland practise
their song at the police headquarters in Gaza City

Hamas militants have launched a new weapon in their struggle with Israel: a troupe of honey-voiced singers known as Protectors of the Homeland.

Wearing crisply pressed fatigues in urban camouflage blue, the six band members gather each day to practise in an old office within the Gaza City police headquarters.

The small room throbbed with energy as their dusty 12-track amplifier screeched with feedback before being tamed by an engineer.

To the accompaniment of a backing track from a laptop computer, the men then started polishing their routine of songs, almost all of which have strong Islamic and militaristic content and titles like Change and Reform. Such uplifting lyrics as “By the shrouds of the dead we are inspired” are typical.

“It is our job to inspire the foot soldiers,” said Maj Hosam Abu Abdu, a 40-year-old former police officer who now fronts the band. “We want to urge the soldiers and officers to push on, to make the effort needed in the struggle to end the occupation [of Palestinian land by Israel].”

Formed in the summer as part of the arts department of Hamas’s domestic security service, the Executive Force, the group has performed for police units around Gaza City.

But Maj Abu Abdu, who also uses his fine voice to call the faithful to prayer at a mosque, outlined ambitious plans for Protectors of the Homeland — to produce their first recordings for distribution, to build a theatre in Gaza City and even to start public dancing.

Being an Islamic group, the plans do not involve women and the band leader looked slightly shocked when asked if any of the activities might be unisex. “Not possible,” he said.

All the band members said the work beat the regular duties that included, back in June, helping Hamas in its bloody and ultimately successful battle with the Fatah faction for control of the Gaza Strip.

Music has always played a large role in the culture of Hamas, with songs praising the group and its leaders, including the wheelchair-bound Sheikh Ahmed Yassin who was killed by the Israelis in 2004.

As well as motivating serving Hamas members, the group also performs in prisons to try to re-educate criminals. “There is a strong psychological effect in music and we use it to try to improve the spirit of those who have committed crimes,” Maj Abu Abdu said.

Syria, Iran & North Korea – Episode 3

Debka has a couple of interesting pieces on the Syria Nuke mystery. According to Debka there is a direct order from Assad, in his hand writting, ordering $120m in wheat to be delivered to N. Korea over the course of the next five years…

Clear Evidence Implicates Assad Personally in North Korean Nuclear Deal

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report

October 27, 2007, 11:24 PM (GMT+02:00)

Al Hamed

Al Hamed “cement ship”

President Bashar Assad was personally involved in Damascus’ nuclear deal with Pyongyang. Documentary proofs of this, obtained from the presidential bureau and signed by Assad in person, are now in the hands of the US and Israeli intelligence services, DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources report. In one, Assad hands down a specific order in his own handwriting that North Korea not be charged for Syrian goods, including an annual shipment of 100,000 tons of Durham wheat for five years worth a total of $120 million. This is the equivalent of the value of the reactor for producing plutonium up to its most radioactive stage, which North Korea promised Syria.

A high-ranking Western intelligence source speaking to DEBKAfile described the evidence against Assad in US and Israeli hands as solid and much closer to a smoking gun than the West has turned up against Iran’s nuclear program.

The following sequence of events unfolds from the garnered documents:

Damascus and Pyongyang settled between them that the nuclear transaction would be masked as a joint venture to build a cement factory in northern Syria; meanwhile, North Korea would sell Syria cement for its development projects.

According to DEBKAfile’s sources, North Korean freighters, which began putting in at Syria’s Latakia and Tartus ports in January 2007, unloaded cargoes of cement in which nuclear reactor components and materials were concealed.

The North Korean traffic at these ports and the Durham wheat transaction attracted the attention of US and Israeli secret services.

During the next eight months – up until the Israeli attack on Syria’s North Korean installation – wheat prices shot up on international markets. Indeed the price of Durham wheat doubled. Had this been a normal commercial transaction, Syria would have claimed additional North Korean goods in compensation. In fact, when import-export officials in Damascus, who knew nothing of the nuclear reactor tradeoff, pointed Assad’s office to the price fluctuations on the wheat market, they were told that the contracts signed by the president in person must go through without changes.

When later, the Syrian wheat crop fell short of expectations, Syrian officials were again told to fill the North Korean orders in full.

On Sept. 3, the North Korean “cement ship” Al Hamed docked at Tartus. The freight it unloaded was trucked directly to the “cement factory” at Al Tibnah in the Syrian Desert, east of the Euphrates River. The Israeli attack took place three days later.

Last Tuesday, Oct. 23, the Syrian ambassador to Washington Imad Mustapha was invited to address the prestigious Institute on Religion and Public Policy. In answer to a question, he acknowledged, “Syria gives North Korea wheat, oil and other products.”

He declined to disclose what Syria got in return. When pressed on this point, Mustapha said in exasperation: “Stuff. We get stuff.”

Thursday, Oct. 25, a number of leading American media simultaneously ran satellite images of a nuclear installation standing at Al Tibnah in August 2007 and the same site in the second half of September, after it had been cleared of the debris left by the Israeli attack.

This time, Damascus found nothing to say – although Syrian officials had commented on former leaks related to the episode. DEBKAfile’s Syrian sources report that this and other symptoms indicate that Assad finds himself in a tight corner. He is at a loss to explain to the Syrian public and, worse, to most of his colleagues in the political and military leadership who were kept ignorant of the nuclear transaction with North Korea, how he came to entangle the country in this ill-fated adventure.

In the view of DEBKAfile’s Western intelligence source, the Syrian president’s internal and international plight is more acute than that of the Iranian regime or Saddam Hussein in the days leading up to the 2003 US invasion. No incontrovertible proof has so far been shown to demonstrate that Iran has attained the capacity to produce nuclear or radioactive weapons, any more than the Iraqi ruler was positively shown to have weapons of mass destruction. Assad’s case is more unfortunate; it is now supported by solid evidence in American and Israeli hands.

DEBKAfile Reports: Iranian-Syrian nuclear issues heat up amid growing mistrust of IAEA director in Washington, Paris and Jerusalem

French defense minister Herve Morin said Monday, Oct. 29, he has information that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. He thus publicly contradicted remarks made by IAEA director Mohammed ElBaradai that there is no such evidence. Morin, on a visit to the Persian Gulf emirates, spoke at the same time as the IAEA director’s address the UN General Assembly.

DEBKAfile’s sources report that president Nicolas Sarkozy plans a state visit to Jerusalem in a few weeks, during which he will the address the Knesset on the Iranian nuclear threat, counter-measures and his commitment to Israel’s security.

Washington and Jerusalem are in intensive discussions over the prudence of Israel publicly leveling on its Sept. 6 attack on the Syrian installation, in consideration of the risk that a statement by prime minister Ehud Olmert could further raise war tensions. DEBKAfile’s military sources report that Israel’s air force and navy have been on high alert for some days.

Washington and Jerusalem are of one mind about the need to refute ElBaradei’s position that there are no grounds for nuclear allegations against Iran and Syria.

Addressing the UN General Assembly Monday, the IAEA director admitted that Iran was flouting UN Security Council resolutions on two points: uranium enrichment continued and so did the construction of a heavy water plant in Arak. He made no reference to Iran’s current work with plutonium.

The Wall Street Journal quoted a senior American official who has worked extensively on nuclear issues: “I would say there’s no doubt now that Syria was in an early phase of a program.”

Some U.S. diplomats were quoted by the paper as deriding the IAEA for failing to identify the Syrian program itself. Involving the IAEA could have bogged down the Syrian proliferation threat in endless rounds of negotiations with no action. “The Israelis decided to take care of this early on. We don’t want to involve an agency that thinks it’s in control, but isn’t,” said one diplomat.

Flag Folding Recital Banned – More Islamification? – Updated

The actual complaint has not been released, however it stinks of the ACLU, CAIR and Islamification. I urge all Americans to protest this and contact your Senators, Representatives and local/state officials…

Flag-folding recitations for vets banned because of religious content

RIVERSIDE,California – Complaints about religious content have led to a ban on flag-folding recitations by Veterans Administration employees and volunteers at all 125 national cemeteries. It all started because of one complaint about the ceremony at Riverside National Cemetery in California.

During thousands of military burials, the volunteers have folded the American flag 13 times and recited the significance of every fold to survivors. For example, the 12th fold glorifies “God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.”

The complaint revolved around the narration in the 11th fold, which celebrates Jewish war veterans and “glorifies the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”

The National Cemetery Administration decided to ban the entire recital at all national cemeteries. Details of the complaint weren’t disclosed.

Administration spokesman Mike Nacincik said the new policy outlined in a Sept. 27 memorandum is aimed at creating uniform services throughout the military graveyard system. He said the 13-fold recital is not part of the U.S. Flag Code and is not government-approved.

Veterans and honor detail volunteers, including Bobby Castillo, 85, and Rees Lloyd, 59, are furious. “That the actions of one disgruntled, whining, narcissistic and intolerant individual is preventing veterans from getting the honors they deserve is truly an outrage,” Lloyd said. “This is another attempt by secularist fanatics to cleanse any reference to God.”

World War II Navy veteran Castillo said it’s “a slap in the face to every veteran.”

“When we got back from the war, we didn’t ask for a whole lot,” Castillo said. “We just want to give our veterans the respect they deserve. No one has ever complained to us about it. I just don’t understand.”

Lloyd and Castillo are part of a 16-member detail that has performed military honors at more than 1,400 services. They were preparing to read the flag-folding remarks at the Riverside cemetery when graveyard staff members stopped them.

Charlie Waters, parliamentarian for the American Legion of California, said he’s advising memorial honor details to ignore the edict. “This is nuts,” Waters told the Riverside Press-Enterprise by telephone from Fresno. “There are 26 million veterans in this country, and they’re not going to take us all to prison.”

Nacincik said that though the flag-folding narrative includes references to God that the government does not endorse, the main reason for the new rules is uniformity. “We are looking at consistency,” Nacincik said. “We think that’s important.”

Rabbi Yitzhak Miller of Temple Beth El said he understands the ban. “It is a perfect example of government choosing to ignore religion in order to avoid offending some religions,” Miller said. “To me, ignoring religion in general is just as problematic as endorsing any one religion.”

A small group of lawmakers are trying to fight this disgraceful ban

A group of congressmen has asked the Department of Veterans Affairs to reconsider its ban on the flag-folding ceremony at military funerals after the agency decided last month to streamline burials at federal cemeteries.

“The flag folding recitation is a longstanding tradition which brings comfort to the living and honor to the deceased,” Rep. Heath Shuler, D-N.C., writes in his letter Tuesday signed by 11 other congressmen. “The recitations accompanying each fold pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families, the nation they proudly serve, and the beliefs that they hold dear.”

Veterans Affairs made the new policy decision last month, after a complaint was filed about a service at Riverside National Cemetery in California.

At issue are secondary meanings attached to the folding of the flag. As the Memorial Honor Guard makes the 13 folds — traditionally representing the original colonies — they recite “the first fold of our flag is a symbol of life, the second fold is a symbol of our belief in the eternal life, etc.”

A complaint about the recitation for the 11th fold — “in the eyes of a Hebrew citizen, represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon, and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” — garnered a complaint at the California cemetery, and according to reports, prompted the ban. /**/

In a Sept. 27 memo, the National Cemetery Administration halted the ceremony. It was an effort to create uniform services throughout the military graveyard system, spokesman Mike Nacincik said.

But it’s caused a furor among veterans. Members of the American Legion have been flooding national headquarters since the decision, according to Ramona Joyce, an organization spokeswoman.

“We definitely think is a matter left up to the families,” she said. “It’s a nice ceremony; we’ve been doing it for years. Our honor guards have been doing it.

“It’s respectful and it’s something the family should be able to choose to have done if they so wish for their veteran,” Joyce said.

Nacincik said the 13-fold recital is not part of the U.S. Flag Code and is not government-approved.

“That the actions of one disgruntled, whining, narcissistic and intolerant individual is preventing veterans from getting the honors they deserve is truly an outrage,” Rees Lloyd, 59, said. “This is another attempt by secularist fanatics to cleanse any reference to God.”

The 12th fold recitation is geared to Christians, saying the fold “represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes, God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.”

In the Legion’s burning ceremony for the dignified disposal of unserviceable flags, a chaplain invokes the name of God with lines like “as they yield their substance to the fire, may your holy light spread over us and bring our hearts renewed devotion to God and country,” Joyce said.

World War II Navy veteran Bobby Castillo, 85, said it’s “a slap in the face to every veteran.”

“When we got back from the war, we didn’t ask for a whole lot,” Castillo said. “We just want to give our veterans the respect they deserve. No one has ever complained to us about it. I just don’t understand.”

Lloyd and Castillo are part of a 16-member detail that have performed military honors at more than 1,400 services. They were preparing to read the flag-folding remarks at the Riverside cemetery when graveyard staff stopped them.

Charlie Waters, parliamentarian for the American Legion of California, said he’s advising memorial honor details to ignore the edict.

“This is nuts,” Waters told the Press-Enterprise by telephone from Fresno. “There are 26 million veterans in this country and they’re not going to take us all to prison.”

Nacincik said that while the flag-folding narrative includes references to God that the government does not endorse, the main reason for the new rules is uniformity.

Shuler’s letter urged Veterans Affairs to change its mind.

“Please reconsider the policy and allow the Memorial Honor Detail volunteers to perform the traditional flag-folding recitation if requested by the family of the deceased,” he wrote.
