ABC News is reporting metro stations in DC are down due to man spraying unknown substance and finding dead birds.

Update:
ABC news is reporting that HazMat crews are on scene at Greenbelt and Takoma stations. An unknown substance was spraye at the stations, authorities are trying to determine the substance. 20 dead birds found at Greenbelt and 3 more found at Takoma.
Authorities are searching for a man in a black pickup truck who was seen spraying an unknown substance.
Update 2:
At Greenbelt station substance has confirmed to be rat poison. Most of it was washed away by the rain. Officials believe the substance at the other three stations also rat poison. (Takoma, Naylor Road and Anacostia)
